Emphasys Centre successfully organised the Multiplier Event of the Erasmus+ KA2 YSM: Young Social Makers project on the 16th of October 2021, during the Cyprus International "Education and Career" Exhibition 2021.
The event was organized by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports and Youth of Cyprus, the Cyprus Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCCI), the Cyprus Employers and Industrialists Federation (ΟΕΒ) and the European Office of Cyprus (EOC), in cooperation with the British Council Cyprus.
The EduFair is the biggest event organised in the field of education and training in Cyprus as important stakeholders attend it every year. Specifically, the Minister of Education, Culture, Sports and Youth visited the booth of Emphasys Centre and honoured us with his presence.
Among the attendees, VET students, trainers and stakeholders had the opportunity to get to know more about the Young Social Makers project and had the opportunity to be informed about the YSM project. All of the information regarding the project was also shown on the YSM Website and all materials that were developed were presented on the platform. Before showcasing the 3D objects, a brief explanation of what 3D printing is, was presented and 2 types of 3D printers were explained also, to which the participants were then shown to the 3D printer available at the event.
Lastly, Emphasys Centre presented its initiative, The Learning Hub, which offers free training courses for everyone. Through this initiative, the Young Social Makers’ results will be supported to ensure the sustainability of the project and disseminated after its completion.
