'Design and build an Eco Tiny Modular HempCrete house' was the main assignment of 'Project CasCo'.
Eight students from six different courses started working on this project on Monday the 13th of July. The past week was focused on Co-creation, Co-design, Cooperation, Team-building, Collaborative leadership, Design thinking and defining the personas of the end-users.
One of the students is working in health care and defined a persona for a disabled student that also wants to join similar Living Lab projects. So she designed a Tiny House accessible for disabled youngsters.
For the Show Tell and experience fair Friday the 17th of July the students created their first prototypes and gathered feedback from the visitors. In the oncoming week the students are going to scale up their prototypes and refine their designs based on the feedback gathered. Designs are going to be digitized further into 3D models.
Project CasCo marks the start of an elaborate collaboration between 4 VET schools on this theme.
